Just east of Cork City lies the small and expanding town of Crosshaven. Crosshaven, Cork City and Cobh all make up the mouth of cork port, so from this picturesque town one can see the cathedral of Cobh across the water. While it is only a few minutes drive from the city centre, there is a distinct feeling that you are in a remote part of West Cork when you are standing on a beach at Crosshaven.
